July 2010 – Ntekelelo NEW classroom block!
Based on a phenomenal amount of money raised on the 10 year anniversary of the Imana Wild Ride 2009, this year Imana / WREC will be able to build 4 Modular classrooms at the Ntekelelo Junior Secondary School.
This School which is situated in the Coffee Bay area has a total of 573 learners who currently use 4 classrooms, they have a pass rate of 80% in Grade 7 and 85% in Grade 8. Currently this school has no electricity, fencing, computers, furniture or a kitchen facility, most of their lessons are held outdoors.
The unveiling of the classrooms at the Ntekelelo Junior Secondary School will take place on Thursday the 29th July at 2pm. All riders are welcome to attend. |
